Community Event: Beginner Origami Workshop
Sunday, 19 April, 11am–12.30pm
ori: folding
kami (gami): paper
A cute and cosy beginner origami workshop for those who are keen to learn a new craft (or a mildly impressive way to fidget when you have access to paper), taught by our one and only Marina Sano.
Marina will be teaching three basic origami makes that come hand in hand with a Japanese childhood, with the option to do a sneaky fourth option for the particularly dextrous.
Take home your masterpieces and instructions for each, so you can fold new ones again and again.
Paper and all necessary tools will be provided.
This event will be held in our reading room, which is only accessible via a small spiral staircase. Tickets are capped due to limited capacity.
