Located just behind the Queen Victoria Market, Amplify is easily accessible by public transport. Your best options are:
- The 58 tram,
- A 7 minute walk from the 19, 57 and 59 trams on Elizabeth St,
- A 10 minute walk from Flagstaff train station.

Our cosy reading room is available to everyone during opening hours*, complete with a small library, board games, art gallery display, and tea station.
It is also available to rent for private events, perfect for book clubs or private launches. Contact us to learn more and book your spot.

Events at Amplify
We host a wide range of bookish and community-oriented events at Amplify. They are cosy, affordable, alcohol-free, and a perfect, low-stakes way to meet new people.
Amplify's in-house book club is held on the last Thursday of every month in our reading room. Across both floors, we host various community events including speed dating, book swaps, and crafting workshops (and book launches, of course!).

Accessibility at Amplify
Our reading room is accessed by a small spiral staircase. Unfortunately, there are no lifts on the premises.
There are two steps leading into the shop and two steps inside the shop that take you to the counter and the non-fiction section. We have a sturdy foldable ramp that can be placed for anyone who requires it for these steps.
