Aasira can remember little of her life before the Temple, a school for dancers deep in the desert. Selected for her ability to harness magic through dance, she is one of the Temple's elite students.

Not only a dancer but the queen's most powerful weapon: forced to use her powers to execute enemies of the crown. 

But when memories of the past begin to flood back, Aasira questions who she was before she came to the temple and whether she was truly born to kill.
