Amplify is an antiracist social enterprise bookshop dedicated to books by BIPOC authors. It was born out of a frustration with the structural racism in the publishing industry and a desire to tangibly make a change in a rigid industry.

We started as an online bookstore in 2020 and expanded into our Peel St shopfront in November 2024. There, you can browse our curation in person and attend bookish events.
